Alabama First Class 2025-2026 PreK Registration has concluded. The drawing was held at local schools on March 21. If your child was not chosen, then you may ask to be placed on a waiting list. PreK applications are completed through the link below.
How does the "drawing" work?
All names from the registration will be entered into a drawing at the school chosen on their registration form. Drawings will be held at the local schools on March 21, 2025. Parents are welcome to attend the drawings. You will be contacted if your child is chosen for PreK class via email by April 11, 2025. If you are not chosen, you will be placed on a waiting list.
Kindergarten Registration – All new Kindergarten students must enroll online through Scribbles.
The following documents are required for registration:
1. Copy of birth certificate- not required, but requested for age verification
2. Copy of social security card- not required, but requested for verification
3. Proof of residency in Chilton County- driver's license, utility bill, or residential lease.
4. Immunization Record
**If your child attended Pre-K at a Chilton County School this past year, a contact sheet will be sent home for you to verify the information and return to the school counselor. Please note on the cover letter which school your child will be attending Kindergarten at.
If you do not have any children currently in a Chilton County School, you will need to create a family dashboard. If you created a family dashboard account last year, you may use the same one and "add" a new student.
New Student Enrollment is OPEN! This is only for students who are new to the district.

Please make sure to check the year your are registering for. There are applications for 2024-2025 (this year) and 2025-2026 (next year).
If you are a student who is wanting to TRANSFER to another school in our district, please see your home school for more information to begin that process.
You will receive a call or email from our registrar indicating that your registration has been received and if any additional information is needed.
